Desarrollo del lenguaje en la infancia: retos de la sobreprotección parental en las aulas ecuatorianas

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar el impacto de la sobreprotección parental en el desarrollo del lenguaje de los niños en las aulas ecuatorianas, identificando las consecuencias en su aprendizaje y socialización. Se aplicó un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño descriptivo y correlacional, involucrando a 587 estudiantes, sus respectivos padres y 64 docentes de diversas instituciones educativas. Se utilizaron cuestionarios estructurados para recopilar datos sobre las prácticas de crianza y las habilidades lingüísticas de los estudiantes. Los resultados revelaron una correlación negativa significativa entre la sobreprotección y las habilidades lingüísticas, sugiriendo que los niños sobreprotegidos tienden a tener un desarrollo del lenguaje menos eficiente. Además, se observó que los estudiantes criados en entornos autónomos mostraron mejores habilidades lingüísticas. Las percepciones de los padres indican una creciente conciencia sobre las limitaciones de la sobreprotección, mientras que las observaciones de los docentes resaltan la necesidad de un enfoque colaborativo para abordar estas dinámicas. La investigación subraya la importancia de fomentar la autonomía en el desarrollo del lenguaje. Se recomienda la implementación de programas de formación para padres y la promoción de actividades extracurriculares que ofrezcan oportunidades para que los niños practiquen sus habilidades lingüísticas en contextos sociales. Estos hallazgos destacan la necesidad de un enfoque integrado que involucre a padres, docentes y la comunidad para apoyar el desarrollo integral de los niños.
